2010!

Some big news for the coming new year that we're very excited about...

-January 30th will see us playing a hometown show with Chuck Ragan, Tim Barry, and Cavaliers at the Coach and Horses. Its no secret that Hot Water Music and Avail are big influences on us, so we're ecstatic to be playing with these fellas, whose respective solo projects are fantastic as well. Don't miss the chance to see them in such a small venue.

-Early February we'll hit the road for a few shows with Whiskey Trench to celebrate the recent release of our Split 7" on Vinyl Addict records. Ottawa and Quebec, we're on our way back!

-Late February we're playing a string of shows with England's legendary Leatherface! Again, another huge influence on us. The St. Catharines date features Fucked Up as well. You will leave this show with hair on your chest.

-Our self titled CD is out now on Art of the Underground, and the LP version is off to the pressing plant. It will be available at the aforementioned shows.

CD Release: Windsor.

Well, this is it Windsor, put your dancin' shoes on. This Friday, October 9th, we're playing at the FM Lounge to celebrate the release of our debut self titled full length CD. We'll get things rolling at 10 pm with the debut performance of Kid Brother, followed by James OL & the Villains. If you can't make it to the show, you can grab of copy of the CD at Dr. Disc or HMV.
Windsor residents should also pick up this months issue of WAMM magazine, which features a nice little article on us by Jamie Greer. A quick note on that article: Ryan Ward is the name of our bass player, and he is still very much a part of our band.
Keep in touch with our myspace for upcoming shows out of town. We've got a little run in november with Hostage Life, and have already started making plans for the new year including shows with Leatherface! Many more surprises to come.
Vinyl nerds take note, the LP will surface this fall, and the long delayed split 7" with Whiskey Trench is on its way before 2010 as well.

We're playing a show this Friday, which will be our last local show for the summer. Its with 'Sewing With Nancie', who some of you may remember if you're old like me (they went on to become the Reason), and our friends from Edmonton 'the Famines' (ex member of the Wolfnote). CD/LP out soon!

Well, we've had the masters since about november, and we're happy to announce that the full length that we recorded at the end of last summer has found a home. Art of the Underground is based out of Buffalo NY, and run by Alex Kerns of Lemuria fame. Besides releasing records for our pals Unwelcome Guests and Malcolm Bauld, AOTU is also home of an incredible single series featuring 7"s by Chinese Telephones, Ghost Mice, Off With Their Heads, and the Ergs just to name a few. The CD should be out by July, and the LP should surface soon after. Get stoked...

March Update.

Been a while (six months!), so here's what we've been up to. The CD/LP should see a spring release. We'll tell you about the label soon. We're touring all summer in support of it, and will have copies for you by then. Sit tight, its coming. The test presses have come back for the Whiskey Trench split and it needs a few sonic touch ups, but will be out by spring as well. Over the winter months we've been doing some great weekends in the GTA. We're booked by Adam Kreeft at Underground Operations Booking Agency now, and couldn't be happier about it. He's a peach, and has been a big help. On that note, the first batch of summer shows are coming together, and there are dates with Bridge and Tunnel, O Pioneers, Yesterday's Ring, and Junior Battles to get things rolling, as well as stops at NXNE and SCENE. That's all I got for ya right now, stop by the myspace for up to date show listings. If you live in Toronto, come and see us next Friday (March 20th), we're opening for the Gaslight Anthem at the Opera House.
